Take time to attend to the word

Attending to the word of God daily, must become a priority for every believer in Christ. Prayer is more effective when we spend time in the word, finding out what God says about everything we desire to pray about. When God give us his word he also gives us his authority. The authority of the believer is emphasized when the believer stands and relies on the authority of the word.

Psalm 119: 89    Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

1 Peter 1:25
but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.

As you spend time reading and praying, quiet yourself, listen and meditate on what the WORD is saying to you. Listen to the Holy Spirit. How might you bring changes in your life and how might you give life to someone today? By sharing a compliment, a kind gesture, or a simple smile. You see, PRAYER and the WORD do not only affect you but affect others you encounter as well.
